Nike TOC Spring Classic

We traveled this past weekend to Phoenix and competed in the Nike TOC Spring Classic. Both of our teams performed well. Our Purple team went 3-1 and Silver went 2-2.

The event was held at Legacy Sports Park. What a nice facility. Mostly all wood courts and legit score boards.

Purple’s best game was against a local Colorado team, NM Clippers Lockdown 16U. It was a close battle the entire game but in the end lost 61-49. The game was very physical but very fun for the girls to compete at a high level.

Silver played a team out of California, SoCal Stars. The game came down to the last possession where we had to defend the 3. Maley Wilhelm had a great closeout at the end which forced a bad shot. We ended up winning that game by 1.

We had a lot more down time this trip. Girls wanted to lay by the pool and study for finals. This group is fun and tight knit! Looking forward to our next travel trip!
